The Church of South India

As a proud constituent of the **Church of South India (CSI)**, our local history is interwoven with a larger journey of Christian unity. Inaugurated on **September 27, 1947**, the CSI represents a historic milestone where diverse traditions—Anglican, Methodist, Congregational, Presbyterian, and Reformed—came together under the shared motto: "That they all may be one."

Governed by a rich framework that harmoniously blends episcopal, presbyterian, and congregational heritages, the CSI connects our local congregation to a vast global fellowship. Through this union, CSI Amaravila shares in the rich spiritual life of the Anglican Communion, the World Methodist Council, and the World Council of Churches.

While the physical structure of the church has evolved over the years, the spirit of service and devotion remains unchanged. We welcome visitors from all walks of life to experience the peace and history of CSI Amaravila.
